Shelley’s Message for Single Women

Whether you are single again, single never married, single with children, or single without children, I understand where you’re walking.  Singleness is something nobody understands unless part of their journey has included being alone.

But ladies, remember that we serve a Savior who was single.  God never said, “This is my son in whom I am well pleased.  Now, Jesus, go get married and give me some grandchildren.”  Purpose resided in Jesus’ singleness and it resides in yours, too.

Take a peek at “The Baptist Nun,” an article I wrote after attending a church reunion full of childhood friends.  Aren’t reunions fun when you’re single?

In addition, I am sharing my thoughts on contentment, a constant battle for many women.

Every couple of months, I will post some new thoughts about thriving in this difficult role.

While reading these articles may God surround you with His love, and may you embrace your singleness as a living sacrifice to Jesus.
