Survive 'N' Thrive
Arise Ministries serves as the founder of the only statewide Single Mothers’ Conference in the nation: Survive ‘N’ Thrive. The summer of 2011 will be the 7^th annual event. Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin serves as the Honorary Chair. Over 200 volunteers participate in the event.

The Survive 'N' Thrive Conference has also been to Bellevue Baptist in Tennessee; Prestonwood Baptist in Dallas, Texas; Second Baptist in Houston, Texas; Beaumont, Texas; and Salt Lake City under the umbrella of the Utah/Idaho Southern Baptist Convention.

Arise on The 700 Club / CBN News
Arise Ministries was interviewed for The 700 Club in September 2010. Survive 'N' Thrive was featured as an event bringing hope and healing to single women across America.

Ignite - Women's Conference
In 2011 Arise hosted the Ignite conference for women in leadership. Pam and Shelley shared the stage with Lisa Welchel, Sandi Patty, and Thelma Wells. In 2012 the special guests will include Kathy Troccoli, Lisa Harper and Shaunti Feldhahn.?

Focus Groups
Arise served as the hostess for two years for an Oklahoma City focus group with over 20 organizations who minister to single mothers and their children. Partnerships were formed in order to more effectively network throughout the year.

Washington, DC

Arise was invited to Washington, DC, in 2010 to speak to select members of Congress about single mother programming and the need to bring the Survive ‘N” Thrive Single Mothers’ Conference to the nation.

Inaugural Prayer Service
Arise Ministries was selected by Governor Mary Fallin to serve as the co-chair in planning the Inaugural Prayer Service in January of 2011 where over 2500 people were in attendance.

Jingle Jangle Single Mothers' Event
Single mothers assembled for a holiday celebration. Pam delivered an encouraging message and the women enjoyed a time of fellowship with other moms.

Places We've Been

Arise Ministries serves as the founder of the annual regional Ignite Conference, a one day event empowering women leaders in ministry. Keynote speakers for Ignite 2010 included Lisa Whelchel, Sandi Patty, Thelma Wells, Pam Kanaly and Shelley Pulliam.
