Who and what is Arise Ministries?
Pam Kanaly and Shelley Pulliam serve as co-founders of Arise Ministries, a nonprofit national women’s organization founded in 2002, whose headquarters resides in Edmond, Oklahoma. Desiring to encourage all women in discovering their value to God, Arise reaches out through a variety of venues: speaking at conferences, writing, radio and television. With a special interest for single mothers and with the Governor of Oklahoma’s endorsement, Arise Ministries hosts every June the only statewide single mothers’ conference in America, Survive ‘N Thrive. Other states, churches, and groups have now invited Arise to bring the conference to their area.
Why the Stick figures?
With joy and laughter and a bit of humor, the ministry finds its rather unique trademark in whimsical stick figures cartoons. For years Pam taught a Bible class of over 250 women and drew stick figures to illustrate spiritual principles. 
Today the little cartoon people have found themselves on pillowcases, cups, t-shirts, pens, and other fanciful products. Nothing can reach into a women’s heart more than an imaginative stick figure jumping in the air, performing a cartwheel, or bending her knees at the throne of the Almighty.
