A Word from Lisa Harper

a keynote speaker at the IGNITE Conference – February 7

Sometimes when I’m pondering what a miracle it is for God to gaze at me through the lens of Jesus and use words like beautiful and wonderful to describe me, I like to imagine what it will be like when I actually get to see Him face to face – when I finish this stumbling, all-too-human routine and stand before all that is sacred, hoping the Alpha and Omega didn’t notice my one-footed landings or cellulite.

I picture myself watching in open-mouthed wonder as He stands up, wearing a sweatshirt that says, “I’m her Dad!” and cheers with reckless abandon, all the while holding high a card emblazoned with the number ten.

That vision is almost enough to propel my over-forty self outside to turn cartwheels again!  How about you?  How does having God as your biggest fan make you feel?
